Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Photon Kathaas Productions appears to be making bilinguals as an indicator. After Gautham’s second outing with a dual language film with Neethaane yen Ponvasantham (that's Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu in Telugu) after the success of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (Ye Maaya Chesave in telugu), the production house has roped in Premsai-who was formerly Prabhudeva’s associate-to direct their next bilingual production-Tamilselvanum Thaniyaar Anjalum (in Tamil) and Courier Boy Kalyan (in Telugu)
“The script isn't restricted in its content to any particular region or language. It’s commercial cinema at its best-entertaining and fast-paced with elements of comedy, romance and action evenly interwoven into the screenplay. I haven’t laughed so hard during a narration in an extended time”, says Gautham.”
The films stars Jai, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh in an ensemble cast in Tamil.
Nitin who's still celebrating the success of his last film ‘Ishq’ will play the lead role in Telugu in conjunction with comedian Rajesh.
Ace singer Karthik who has sung for Gautham in his films-Kaakha Kaakha, Varanam Aayiram (the preferred ‘Anjale’ number) and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, could be very excited to continue his association with Gautham-and this time as music composer.
The production house states that shoot has commenced in Hyderabad and that over the following 3 months some of the principal photography might be complete. ”
