1. What's all about this special stunt fight you mastered on this film Billa – II?I'M Kecha Khamphakdee. I am the stunt coordinator of the Jaika Stunt team. What makes the fight sequences so special in Billa 2 is the truth that you've such amazing talent performing the action. It’s unattainable to film good action without good performers and the actors in Billa 2 are definitely greater than just good. They’re fantastic. Obviously you will have Ajith Kumar who brings great intensity and focus to all his work, especially the fights. His moves are very sharp and robust. You furthermore mght have Vidyut Jamwal who's very skilled in martial arts and acrobatics. We utilized a large number of his acrobatic abilities within the fights. In choreographing for either one of them we were in a position to collaborate our ideas and produce out choreography that works well for every person and showcase their unique strengths.
2.How many days it took to shoot this fight and what are the original technician utilized in this fight? It took a couple of days to film each fight. Probably the most difficult sequence for us was when filming in Georgia. The elements was extremely cold and our location was suddenly hit by an enormous snowstorm after 75% of the sequence was completed. We needed to film all of it again! However the Georgian stunt team were amazing and Vidyut took it like a champ. Shall we hardly move as it was so cold but he was jumping and kicking and flipping without a problem. Very amazing talent.
3.Your experience with the Director and other technicians on this film Billa – II ?It was great working with director Chakri Toleti. He's very detailed with a high-quality idea of what he wants from each sequence and can film until everything is ideal. He gave us a large number of freedom to design our fights which we truly thank him for. All of the crew was a pleasure to work with and our team made many new friends in this film. We are hoping so to interact again soon.
4.Your experiece with the hero Mr,Ajith ?Mr. Ajith is an excessively charming man. Very polite and respectful and really friendly to everyone at the set. Our team has worked with him before so it was great to get the danger to interact again. He’s willing to check out almost anything as he's very skilled in various extreme sports. This made it easy for us to interact to design our fight scenes. What's also amazing is how he's in a position to move so sharp and powerfully. Definitely an honor to work with.
5.About yourself ?I'VE BEEN working within the movie industry for approximately TWO DECADES now. My form of action leans more towards the realistic and difficult hitting style that Thailand is widely known for. However, when choreographing fight scenes I ATTEMPT TO utilize greater than just Thailand’s Muay Thai variety of action. When possible I ATTEMPT TO incorporate elements from different kinds of martial arts which makes the fights more interesting. My team could also be very skilled in wirework techniques and we attempt to make our wirework action as innovative and exciting as possible.
6.What feel in regards to the Indian cinema especially Tamil film Industry and the celebs you heard ?My team the Jaika Stunt Team has worked on numerous Indian films especially Tamil films. What's very great concerning the Tamil film stars is how all the way down to earth they're. They're very respectful and in addition very talented. Some could have action experience and a few would possibly not but all of them give it 110% once we design the action for the movies. This can be a very friendly atmosphere within the industry and we're always excited to work on an Indian film.
Indian films are big on action and we are hoping to bring more to the action industry here. I ACTUALLY want to push more cope with the performance and realistic action, and not more at the quick cuts seen in numerous films. I NEED to showcase the actors and their talent honestly and never hide behind an excessive amount of fancy editing, quick cuts and extreme closeups where you can’t tell what's going on. The actors and performers work so hard and it might be a shame not to fully sing their own praises their labor. I WANT to bring a bit of more rawness and grittiness to the action within the industry and hopefully gets the risk to take action in future projects.
7.Your future projects in Tamil / Indian cinema you going to work?We worked on Mr. Nokia starring Manoj Manchu which was released recently. We also designed the action on Vishwaroopam starring Kamal Hassan. And we just finished work on Zilla Gaziabad. As for future projects there are a couple of in pre-production but we aren’t capable of divulge any details just yet. But when you're looking for prime notch action from the Jaika Stunt Team then look no further than Billa 2.
