Even stars are into multi-starrers: Shazahn Padamsee

Even stars are into multi-starrers: Shazahn PadamseeHer next film "Housefull 2" has a dozen actors, but Shazahn Padamsee isn't fretting. After all, stars also are part of multi-starrers, isn't it, says the actress.

"I have one of these great distance to head. I'M so young and feature to join the industry for thus a few years. I'll do multi-starrers, I'll do films with many people...Now you spot even the celebs doing multi-starrers. The sector is my oyster; I DO NOT search for anything solo or multi-starrer," Shazahn siad.

Daughter of ad guru Alyque Padamsee, Shazahn made her Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor-starrer "Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year" and later went directly to join Madhur Bhandarkar's "Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji", which had an ensemble cast.

She is now gearing up for the discharge of "Housefull 2" April 5.

Directed by Sajid Khan, the comedy film features Akshay Kumar, Asin Thottumkal, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi Kapoor.

Shazahn was initially nervous about being part of the film, but after working with the solid and crew, she says its been her best experience so far.

"Earlier, I USED TO BE nervous because I had heard of the pranks of Sajid and because I'M the youngest a number of the cast and the crew, I BELIEVED I MIGHT be picked up conveniently for a prank. But it surely was probably the most enjoyable experience."

"All the actresses are very close and we were always chatting at the sets discussing diet tips. The solid has become family now," she added.

The two-film-old actress says she is enjoying the way in which her Bollywood career has shaped up so far, but says being an actor was never on her mind. Rather, she desired to be a writer.

"It have been a ravishing journey. I come from a theatre family. So films were something I never considered doing because I WISHED to be a writer. But now since I'M a part of films, I'M enjoying each piece of it," said Shazahn, who recently walked the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) ramp for designer Sulakshana Monga.
